Conferences
Every year since 1999 the practical and scientific conferences on the questions of information security conduct on the department. The main purpose of the conferences is information exchange between scientists, specialists, lecturers, postgraduate students and students of different institutes of higher education and enterprises in the sphere of information security.
From 1999 till 2008 the South-Russian regional scientific-educational center of information security problems in the system of Higher School of education and the department of security of IT organized 2 regional seminars and 8 conferences. These conferences rapidly developed from regional level into international.
As a rule the main tasks of the conferences are the following:
- fundamental and conceptual issues of information security;
- complex protection of informatization objects;
- protection of information processes in the computer systems;
- protection of telecommunication;
- cryptography and steganography methods and means;
- standards, technical and legal regulation of information security;
- humanitarian aspects of information security;
- training of specialists for information security.
